Delicious, creamy ice cream and sherbet. My husband had the twist and I had the lime sherbet. The service was fast and friendly and the price was very reasonable. The shady seats made eating our treats outside enjoyable.

I don't see what all the fuss is about. Nice people but the food wasn't worth the drive.

over $10/person. I wouldn't mind the price if it was good but the burgers are bland and just not good. It didn't help that it was made wrong. The two stars are for the fries. They are really good. I know this place has nostalgia but I cannot recommend anything but the fries.

Christy Creme is a family run business that makes amazing soft serve fresh daily. They make their own cones, ice cream sandwiches, and have fresh ingredients all around. I highly recommend stopping in and trying some of their creations. They also have food that is made to order. Go here for ice cream in CB!!!

Cute little ice cream/fast food place tucked away in a neighborhood. I have only had the ice cream, and if you like soft serve, (Like Dairy Queen) then you will like this place a lot. They offer a ton of different sundaes, shakes etc. The inside dinning room is pretty small, but they have a fair amount of outdoor seating too. This is a great place to go if you are looking for a family friendly, inexpensive, local place to grab a snack or dessert.

Honestly love this place to death. Their cheeseburgers are really greasy so I wouldn't recommend becoming a weekly visitor but if you want a great cheeseburger and fries to die for you can stop your search. Not to mention their amazing soft serve sherbets. Personal favorite is the blackberry. Overall, if you're coming through town and need a pit stop this is the place to eat. On a side note, their customer service is good too.

4.5 stars for food and service, 5 stars for the fact that it's an institution in Council Bluffs and a must-visit for anyone who loves Mom & Pop burgers and fries and delicious ice cream. Grabbed a chocolate malt yesterday with the wife and in-laws after a long day in the heat ... and it was perfect. Definitely want to go back for the french fries and maybe a hot dog or a burger. Love this place. One thing, though ... I wish the owners would take a power washer to the outdoor table and chairs ... and then just make a point of giving them a good cleaning now and again. Between the bird crap and the spilled ice cream, it can be tough to find a clean spot. My only complaint!

An ol' neighborhood favorite, definitely one of the bright spots of Council Bluffs. Christy Creme has been around for a while, and within the past 10 years or so an indoor seating addition was added on. As far as food goes, the tenderloins are a must. Also, the fries are always fantastic - they are the best fries out there, if you ask me; they're always warm with grease and cooked to golden perfection. Be sure to check out their sherbet of the week, as well as something called Dog Days of Summer, where you can bring your doggy up for some free ice cream (with purchase). Info is available on their website.

This is as close to the old time drive in ice cream dives as you are going to get -- if you remember those from waaay back! I have eaten their pork tenderloin sandwich and it is yummy. I'm from Iowa, but live in Dallas now, and would you believe they don't know what this is? We usually go whenever I am in CB. Last week I shared a Mystic Mint Supershake with Mom. Light in mint and very refreshing. They even still have dipped cones! Crowded in the summer, may be difficult to find a place to sit.

Best soft-serve ice cream in the metro; the sherbert that rotates daily is awesome. Friendly owners and a CB institution. The food is a typical burger/tenderloin/chicken strips stuff. Made to order and pretty solid. Best things are the fries and onion rings. That said, the reason to go here is the ice cream. It is really great.

I have heard so much about this place, so when I found myself driving by I had to stop in. First off, I am really not an ice cream person, so maybe I will come back with a date for this treat which everybody seems to love. I got the Grilled Chicken Club (with Cheese and Bacon) and fires which were fine, but a little on the pricey side, so I will wait to really judge them on their desserts. From Omaha it is easier to get there from the Mormon Bridge, just a 6 mile drive down from Crescent, but it is a nice drive!

Delicious family run restaurant. A bit pricy but so worth it (those fries.... )

Christy Creme is a great little family owned business in CB. I love their special ice cream flavors, and it's definitely a treat anytime we come. I love their fries and chicken nuggets. They're ice cream is exceptional, and everyday they have a new flavor. I love lemon! Prices are a little high, but it is family-owned. Not a whole lot of seating inside and closed during winter months. Come for lunch, dinner, or just a quick ice cream treat.

Christy Creme is a great Mom and Pap ice cream joint with great food. Christy Creme has been there probably my whole life. I remember my parents taking me there nearly 20 years ago. Their malts are okay and could use more malt powder, but that may be a personal preference. And their food is good but WAY over priced, which has kept me away for a while now. A hamburger, fries, and a pop for nearly $7? Come on. The main reason I haven't been a regular is because of the food prices. But I catch myself going back for ice cream every couple months or so. Daily sherbet flavors are awesome.
